LAURA FLIPPEN & EMISSARY ARTISTS !!

I am now represented by the lovely folks at EMISSARY!!
Excited to have such a great team to work with & looking forward to some great collaborations! YAY!

Here is a little interview they posted on their Blog:

Emissary Artists welcomes Laura Flippen!

We are totally stoked to announce that we’ve added an amazing talent from San Francisco to our roster – Laura Flippen! We are smitten and thought you might like to get to know her as well, so we asked her a few pertinent Emissary Artists necessary questions. You can check out Laura’s work right here and read her answers below.

EA: Where did you grow up?
LF: We lived on an organic farm in Northern California when I was younger… we had horses, ponies, goats, ducks – you name it! My favorite, though, was our tree fort in a huge old oak tree. I think we camped up there most of the summers! In Junior High we moved back to the SF Bay area, where I’ve become a city dweller…

EA: Anywhere in the world you’d like to visit but haven’t been yet?
LF:  Greece & Iceland would both be amazing & magical.

EA: Where is the wildest place photography has taken you?
LF: Doing a lifestyle shoot in the California desert during a heat wave – I think it was 118 in the shade!

EA: What’s your dream project?
LF: Hmmmmm… a creative/commercial project in Greece or Iceland!!

EA: Cake or cookies?
LF: Both! I make a mean flour-less chocolate cake & the best chewy gingerbread cookies. Needless to say, I love to cook…

EA: What’s your favorite possession?
LF: With the exception of my Great Grandfather’s cameras he used for family portraits & vacation photos, it would have to be my mother’s engagement ring.

Welcome to the Emissary Team, Laura! The next time you’re whipping up goodies in the kitchen, count us in for a batch of gingerbread cookies.
